Don “Joshua” has over two decades of experience in the engineering field (aerospace, mechanical & electrical) and real estate industry. He has led diverse teams at Fortune 100 Companies, in the Governmental sector and as an entrepreneur. He also managed his own real estate brokerage and property management company, Okonya & Associates, assisting hundreds of wonderful families with the ability to obtain the dream of home ownership. To God be the glory!

​Working in such high-paced industries with rigorous governance, Don learned that any system (marriage, business, etc.) can run at optimal efficiency if there is an intentional focus on understanding the intricate details of the system itself.  Don could not be the Husband and Father that he is today without first understanding what reverence to God really meant (Proverbs 9:10). As his know-ledge of our Creator increased through His word, Don began to understand God’s expectation of the man's (Adam’s) role in the covenantal marriage.   
 

Don & his lovely wife, Dr. Kim, have been given a vision to partner together and to give birth to Healing Judah Wellness. They are called to put their hands to the plow, to follow Christ & serve Him by serving God’s people. All Praises be to The Most High YAH!

Don Joshua enjoys spending time with his family and traveling. He enjoys reading, watching a good show with his wife, as well as watching & playing sports with his children. Don also facilitates a bi-weekly men’s group called Kingdom Men of Valor.

Dr. Kim has almost 20 years of post-licensure experience in the field of clinical social work and psychology and has worked in a multitude of settings including inpatient and outpatient medical and behavioral health hospitals, universities and as a university professor. She managed her own group private practice, Life Begins Here Therapeutic & Counseling Services (LBHTCS), for 9 years. She understands the life cycles, the systems in which we all function, the impact of trauma and the process and journey to true healing.

God has shown her even more deeply without Him, the healing process is only temporary at best. That in order to have lasting change, one must truly turn away from certain things and live. Many times, we are unable to do that in our own strength regardless of the techniques used, methods applied or solely based on methods created by humans. She was called to close LBHTCS and to partner with her husband to birth Healing Judah Wellness.

Dr. Kim centers her wellness practices around her faith in God as she understands the importance of spirituality in understanding oneself, in fostering hope, true healing and internal transformation.

Dr. Kim enjoys spending time with her family and trying new adventures. Her favorite hobbies include spending time in nature, reading, journaling, creating non-toxic natural products, cooking a new recipe or creating her own, traveling and crafting beaded jewelry.
